Pic: Guest speakers - click the pic for infoThe annual event is one of the key exhibitions to take place in the UK highlighting workplace health and safety, best practice, equipment and a major networking opportunity with visitors from all over the UK and Europe.

This year, one of the country's best loved and most respected journalists, Kate Aidie OBE, will be in attendance as a key speaker.

Working as BBC Chief News journalist, she reported for many years from war-torn areas across the world , covering the Gulf War, the demise of the Soviet Union, the protests in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square and NATO’s campaign in Kosovo. She also covered major events in the UK such as the Wapping print workers dispute and the Miner's Strike in the 1980s. She is no stranger to both conflict and personal danger and having suffered injury in going about her work. Listening to her speaking of her experiences will no doubt be both educational and harrowing.

The exhibition itself covers such areas as health and safety consultancy and administration, safety equipment including PPE, fall arrest systems, working from heights in general, confined spaces working, hazardous environments working, lone working, standards and best practices to mention just a few major areas of interest to all those involved in health and safety at work. You can also attend five further events taking place over the same days at the ExCeL covering fire safety, facilities, security, service management and clothing & workwear?

Registering in advance means no queuing to register on the day.
